Legacy Golf Club At Lakewood Ranch

We stopped in at Legacy for the first time as we have golf lessons at GolfTEC. We just wanted to grab a lite lunch and hit some balls on the Range. The atmosphere is like being in a private club but it's public what a beautiful place. It was incredible sunny day for a change in January so we thought we'd sit out on the deck and we ordered our lunch. I had a blackened chicken wrap with coleslaw and everything was perfect I enjoyed it very much. My wife had a chicken wrap with french fries and they were both delicious as well . I snuck a few fries just to test and they were nice and brown and crunchy. The driving range is probably the best one I've seen so far since we've been in Florida. Its a huge area for a lot of people and just beautiful scenery and yes you can hit off the actual grass with or without a tee. There's a huge open area where you can practice chipping and also a beautiful putting green. I can't comment on the course but it just seems immaculate in fact every part of this business seems to be run top notch. The Pro Shop is well stocked with golf attire and a really good variety also with a great shoe selection with lots of different sizes up to 13. Highly recommend! This course was fantastic. Well maintained and very beautiful. More than what I'm used to paying back home but didnt mind splurging to play at an Arnold Palmer course and I'm on vacation. It was extremely busy so I would definitely make a tee time. Got a complementary drink for buying a round of golf and they had a refreshment cart that made it's way around several times during our game. I'll be back for sure.

Sure, I recently played a round of golf at Legacy Golf Club and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The course was beautifully maintained and offered a great variety of challenging holes. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making for an overall enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back to play again and would highly recommend this course to any avid golfer.

Overall, I enjoyed this golf course. Easy to get to, nice people, water stations provided and the layout was pretty good, but what else would expect from the King? I used a Group Golfer coupon so it was very reasonable. The fairways and tee boxes were great. The fairway was like hitting off carpet. Sand traps were well maintained and showed no signs of flooding. The only complaint I had, and the reason for the 4 out of 5 were the greens. Overall, they are in good shape, but there are some rough spots around the edges and some had some bad spots creeping further inward. Everyone is having a tough time this year. The cart person came by several times and the prices for snacks and drinks were reasonable ( for a golf course) I would definitely come back.

A fabulous, challenging course in great shape. My only issue is how the schedule was managed today. Several groups from local high schools' golf teams jumped around my foursome on the 10th hole as part of an event. One of the coaches treated us in a very disrespectful manner while telling us to skip the 11th hole to accommodate his team. This cast a pall over an otherwise enjoyable round.
